Speak in one language, hear it back in another. It runs on free pieces: your browser's speech recognition, a free public translation service, and your phone's built-in voices. No account, no app, no cost.

Honest limits
The microphone works in Chrome (Android, Mac, Windows) and Edge. Safari support is unreliable. First use asks for mic permission.
Speech understanding comes from your browser (Google, in Chrome) and needs internet. Accuracy is good in quiet rooms, worse with noise or accents.
Translation comes from MyMemory, a free public service with a daily free quota. Quality is fine for everyday sentences, a step below Google Translate.
The spoken answer uses voices already on your device. The translation itself needs internet.
Replies take about two to four seconds end to end in testing.
Where this stands. Google Translate's free app (Conversation mode) still beats this on quality and language count today. This page proves the same idea works in a plain browser tab at zero cost, with nothing to install.
Prototype tested 18 Oct 2026. This prototype does not save conversation history. Your speech is processed by your browser's speech service (Google in Chrome), and the text is processed by the free MyMemory translation service. Their data retention is not verified, so avoid confidential or sensitive conversations.
